When you complete our intake form, you’ll be prompted to enter your card details securely through our Halaxy system. Payment is processed at the time of your appointment, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt afterward. This ensures that more of your appointment time is dedicated to what truly matters to you.
Please note Be Mindful Nutrition is a private billing practice, which means there is a gap between our session fees and any Medicare rebate you may receive. We do not offer bulk billing.
Medicare
If you are on an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDP) or Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP) from your doctor, you will receive a rebate from medicare.
The rebate is currently $61.80 per dietetic session. You’ll receive a higher rebate if you’ve reached your safety-net threshold.

Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDP)
If you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder and meet the eligibility criteria, your GP can place you on an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP). This provides access to Medicare rebates for up to 20 dietitian appointments per calendar year, as well as up to 40 psychology sessions.
We recommend speaking with your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician to determine whether you are eligible.
If you are not eligible for an EDP, you may still be able to access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP).
Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP)
A CCMP may provide Medicare rebates for up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. The number of sessions allocated to see a dietitian is determined by your referring GP.
Conditions that may be eligible for a CCMP include (but are not limited to): a diagnosed eating disorder that does not meet the criteria for an Eating Disorder Plan, diabetes (type 1 and type 2), cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal conditions, PCOS, and other chronic health conditions.
Eligibility is assessed by your GP, so we recommend discussing this with them to determine whether a CCMP is appropriate for you.
Private Health Rebates
Depending on your level of cover you may receive a rebate for dietetics. Check with your fund to see if you are covered and for how much. Note that you cannot claim private health rebates for sessions that you have claimed a Medicare rebate for.
