Meet the Team
We offer nutrition counselling for children, teenagers, families and adults based in Perth. We are passionate about helping clients to pursue health without dieting, disordered eating and eating disorder behaviours. We work with clients to support them to improve their relationship with food, eating and their bodies. We use a non diet approach and understand how difficult navigating the world of health and nutrition can be and that often people have been struggling for years. If that sounds like you then you’ve come to the right place!

Our Mission and Philosophy
Food is so much more than just fuel for our bodies. Food brings people together and is meant to be savoured, enjoyed, and shared with loved ones.
Somehow along the way, our approach to food and eating has gotten very complicated and stressful. If you have been feeling this way, then you are not alone. The good news is, it doesn’t have to be this way!
At Be Mindful Nutrition, we believe that life is too precious to waste time counting calories and worrying about the number on the scale. Our mission is to support you to develop sustainable, enjoyable and mindful health practices in order to gain freedom from food struggles.
Rediscover the joy of eating with plenty of room for all of the foods that you love!
How do we achieve this?
At Be Mindful Nutrition, we use the non diet approach which is based on the Health at Every Size (HAES®) and intuitive eating principles. This approach equips you with the skills to nourish your mind, body and soul. Through this process, you’ll find how to reconnect with your body, become more aware of appetite and fullness, improve your relationship with food, rediscover the pleasure of eating and find your own definition of health. This means being able to let go of any food anxiety or guilt and not having to cut out your favourite foods. In other words: no dieting!
Who is it for?
We work with clients who present with the following diet-related concerns:
- Weight, body shape concerns and body image struggles
- Recovery from chronic and lifelong dieting
- Disordered eating – including counting calories, fasting, following
- Eating disorders including Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders (OSFED), Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)
